The Recorder Ensemble students have been challenging themselves to play Staff Wars at the highest level: 100 notes on Speed 5. If a note is slightly out of tune, it won’t be recognised and there is NO MERCY!

Riptide – an Aussie hit
Riptide was a highly successful song for Vance Joy, an Australian singer-songwriter. Some of our students have had a go at playing the chords on their ukelele – it uses Am, G and C most of the way through. Maybe Mr Veldman will help out at Week 3’s assembly, when the Councillors and House Captains lead us in the song! Click here for the official filmclip.
Snakes and Ladders – a new take on an old game
What a great way to practise going up, going down and staying on the same pitch. Year 2 students playing Musical Snakes & Ladders.
Co-operative Learning!
We have been working to improve note reading and playing. Students have been helping each other to master their skills.
No Rehearsals May 17 and May 24
Mrs Ruscoe will be on Long Service Leave from May 12 until May 30.
