Community Songs for assemblies are listed, with some information about the song and which version we are using.

We have two School Choirs: the Senior Choir (Years 5 and 6) rehearses at 2pm and the Year 4 Choir rehearses at 2.30pm on Wednesdays. Some Year 6 students from Choir elect to be part of the gLee Club, which meets before school on Fridays.

Advanced recorder players are invited to join the Recorder Ensemble, which rehearses at 8am on Tuesdays.

Each class from Year 1 to Year 6 attends Class Music for 60 minutes per week. We learn to sing and make music using instruments, both improvising and reading from notation. Information about the work we are doing in class will be available here.

Students in Year 6 may be selected to learn flute, clarinet or brass from the School of Instrumental Music (SIM) tutors, who visit Glengarry once a week. These students also join the Duncraig and Glengarry Combined Schools Band, rehearsing after school on Tuesdays.
