We have a cheery song for the Final Assembly. Boogie woogie is a style of piano playing from the 1930s and it uses the 12 bar blues progression.
Have a listen to this old version of Christmas Boogie by Vernon White – it’s a bit different from the one we’re using at school and it has some great piano playing! Click here.
Hi. Is it possible to please get a list of the community songs at the start of each term (2017). Would be great to know what the younger kids are singing at school so we can practice at home.
Hi Erin
We decide on the song only a few assemblies ahead, because sometimes they match the assembly’s theme.
I will put them up on the blog (haven’t done that so far this year – sorry!
The next one is Never Give Up by Sia
