One Night the Moon

Students in Years 4-6 watched three clips from the filmĀ One Night the Moon. This 2001 film tells a story through music and has very few spoken lines. The story is set in 1932 and theĀ music was written by three Australians with different backgrounds: Paul Kelly, a singer-songwriter who grew up in Adelaide, Mairead Hannan, who has Irish ancestry and Kev Carmody, an Indigenous Australian from the Murri people in Queensland.
